On 5 February, FRA took part in a seminar in Helsinki organised by the Council of Europe and the Finnish Non-discrimination Ombudsman. The event was part of a EU-Council of Europe funded technical support project on upholding equality and non-discrimination by equality bodies regarding the use of artificial intelligence in public administrations.

A FRA online information tool aims at raising awareness of the fundamental rights implications of the EU large scale IT systems for migration and policing. It informs non-EU nationals, their lawyers and civil society organisations about how the systems function and how affected individuals can claim their rights.
