Alors que les pays de l’UE font face à une nouvelle vague de COVID-19, la police, les médias et les ONG continuent de faire état d’un accroissement de la violence à l’égard des femmes et des filles. Cette « pandémie de l’ombre » a un effet dévastateur sur les droits des femmes et des jeunes filles dans toute l’Europe. L’Agence des droits fondamentaux de l’Union européenne (FRA) et l’Institut européen pour l'égalité entre les hommes et les femmes (EIGE) appellent l’Union européenne et tous les États membres à redoubler d’efforts pour protéger les droits des femmes et à marquer la Journée internationale pour l'élimination de la violence à l'égard des femmes par des actions concrètes.
Today, the nine European Justice and Home Affairs (JHA) agencies came together to wrap up the activities of the network in 2021 and present its key achievements.
