Conséquences de la guerre d’agression menée par la Russie contre l’Ukraine, hausse de la pauvreté infantile, généralisation de la haine et protection des droits face aux évolutions technologiques : voilà quelques-unes des questions urgentes relatives aux droits humains traitées dans le rapport sur les droits fondamentaux 2023 de la FRA. Dans sa section « Focus » consacrée aux effets de l’agression russe contre l’Ukraine au sein de l’UE, le rapport se penche sur le soutien et la solidarité apportés par les gouvernements, les autorités locales et la société civile. On y trouve des suggestions indiquant comment les pays de l’UE pourraient mieux assurer une protection efficace, en particulier pour aider les femmes ayant fui le conflit et qui ont besoin d’un soutien ciblé.
FRA, together with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), will facilitate a workshop on improving hate crime recording.

Toutefois, selon le dernier bulletin sur les migrations publié par l’Agence des droits fondamentaux de l’Union européenne (FRA), malgré les progrès accomplis, il reste des problèmes à résoudre, dont le traitement des migrants aux frontières de l’UE ou les conditions difficiles dans les centres d’accueil et de rétention.
