FRA presented new handbook at the Frontex Management Board

On 18 June, FRA presented the updated FRA-ECtHR handbook on European law relating to asylum, borders and immigration published in June 2026 at a meeting of the Frontex Management Board, informing delegations that in the coming weeks printed version in five language versions, namely English, French, German, Greek and Italian will be available.

FRA also reported that on 11th June it co-organised a first online meeting with national independent monitoring mechanisms under the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum.

FRA highlighted the need for a coherent approach between fundamental rights monitoring at national level and the monitoring by the Frontex fundamental rights monitors.
