Disposer d’un statut de résident stable, pouvoir travailler et changer librement d’emploi et avoir accès à la sécurité sociale sont autant d’éléments renforçant l’intégration dans l’UE des ressortissants de pays tiers. Toutefois, il ressort de recherches menées par l'Agence des droits fondamentaux de l’Union européenne (FRA) que le statut de résident de longue durée – UE, qui confère ces droits, est sous-utilisé. La FRA appelle l’UE et les autorités nationales à simplifier les règles, à supprimer les obstacles et à favoriser l’adoption de ce statut UE.
Whether it happens in football, in the office or on the way home, sexual harassment and violence against women are commonplace in the EU. It is time to show this human-rights abuse a red card. The EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) calls on EU countries to effectively tackle harassment and violence against women. At the same time, they should better protect women and provide more support for victims.
