The UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Violence against Children, Dr Najat Maalla M'jid, visited FRA on 27 November.
FRA contributed to a Spanish Presidency European Migration Network event on ‘Shaping the future of EU legal migration’. Participants discussed tools and challenges of labour migration policies as well as complementary pathways linked to work for people in need of international protection.
On 30-31 October, FRA’s Director travelled to the UK to deliver a speech at the University of Nottingham on racism. The Director used key findings from ‘Being Black in the EU’ to illustrate the pervasive and persistent scourge of racism in society.

La FRA a mis à jour sa base de données sur la haine à l’égard des musulmans. Facile à utiliser, celle-ci offre une vue d’ensemble d’informations (datant au plus tard du 31 décembre 2022) sur les crimes de haine, les discours haineux et les discriminations à l’encontre des musulmans dans l’ensemble de l’UE, en Albanie, en Serbie et en Macédoine du Nord.
On 9 November, FRA gave a presentation on its upcoming ‘Manual for labour inspectors on the protective elements of EU law for third-country workers’.
