La discrimination endémique associée au décrochage scolaire entraîne également des perspectives d’emploi restreintes et à une pauvreté généralisée pour beaucoup d’entre eux. En conséquence, l’espérance de vie des Roms et des Gens du voyage est de 10 ans inférieure à celle de la population en général. Ces conclusions devraient guider les réponses politiques aux niveaux européen et national et aider les décideurs politiques à collaborer avec les Roms et les Gens du voyage dans la lutte contre l’exclusion et la pauvreté.
