On 21 July 2021, FRA took part in an event introducing new study on the role of internet technologies in gender-based violence in Bulgaria. The study is part of the project “After the Storm: How to restore policy dialogue and supportive discourse against gender-based violence online in Bulgaria”

FRA presented its EU LGBTI Survey results during a National Pride event in Finland on 30 June. The Finnish Ministry of Justice, Department for Democracy and Public Law, Autonomy and Equality organised the event.
FRA contributed to the annual training event on EU border management. The European Law Academy (ERA) and the European Coast and Border Guard Agency (Frontex) organised the event. FRA was part of a session on fundamental rights shared with the new Frontex Fundamental Rights Officer.
FRA Director Michael O’Flaherty addressed the European Economic and Social Committee’s Employment, Social Affairs and Citizenship Section on 21 June. He presented different FRA tools that can support EESC members in their work.
Over 70 representatives from EU Member States, EU and UN agencies took part in a migrant children expert group meeting on 24 June.
