FRA will present findings from its work on the impact of COVID-19 on fundamental rights during the UNECE Regional Forum on Sustainable Development. It will be part of discussions on 10 March on how human rights can guide sustainable recovery. FRA will also draw on its work on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals in the EU. The event focuses on how to ensure that the principle of leaving no-one behind is entrenched in COVID-19 recovery strategies and plans.
The FRA Director will meet Werner Amon, one of the three Heads of the Austrian NHRI (Volksanwaltschaft) on 9 March.

FRA will present findings from its recent report on Crime, safety and victims’ rights during the first plenary meeting of the Victims’ Rights Platform. The European Commission inaugurated the Platform on 22 September 2020.
The Representation of the European Commission in Spain and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation will host a virtual event to mark 20 years of the EU’s Fundamental Rights Charter in collaboration with FRA.
